Andrea D. Burns, MD – a highly respected, board-certified Pediatrician in Ellicott City, MD – is a well-known physician, mom, speaker and go-to expert on child, adolescent and newborn health issues. She is known for her warm bedside manner, creative problem solving skills and authentic love for children. Dr. Andrea is trusted by parents not only for her medical expertise, but because of the security they feel in the way that she patiently teaches and compassionately cares for her patients. Dr. Andrea believes in empowering expectant and new parents, with the skills and knowledge they need to feel at ease, empowered and prepared to holistically support their child’s health and best development.
Dr. Andrea is also committed to her community and makes time to volunteer throughout the area. She is also skilled in the areas of complementary medicine, baby sign language, obesity prevention, atopic dermatitis, newborn parenting and parent-child bonding.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency training at Orlando Health.
